Real Power provides charging services to electric vehicles at the 2011 Green Truck Summit in Indianapolis, IN (3-8-11)

 Indianapolis, IN March 21st, 2011

Real Power, a division of Contour Hardening, Inc. (CHI) of Indianapolis, Indiana, provided charging services to electric vehicles during the 2011 Green Truck Summit Ride & Drive event  being held on March 8-9th, 2011 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

For two days, visitors could test drive a variety of green and alternate fuel vehicles, ranging from hybrids, electric, CNG, LP and others. Real Power charging vehicles were on hand to recharge electric vehicles during the event. Vehicles such as the Chevrolet Volt, Ford Transit Connect, International eStar and Smith trucks all took advantage of Real Power's services and allowed their vehicles to be charged as needed.

 Real Power offered all levels of charging during the event, from basic Level 1 110v, to Level 2 240v to Level 3 DC Fast Charging power. This event provided Real Power with additional "Real World" data to further ensure compatibility of charging systems with electric vehicles. Find pictures and video of the event below.
