Cars.com conducts field test of Real Power's Mobile Level 3 EV Quick Charge Truck with Nissan Leaf in Chicago, IL

(July 22nd, 2011) Chicago, Illinois –  Cars.com, the leading online resource for automotive enthusiasts and car shoppers conducted a field test of Real Power's Level 3 Mobile Quick Charge Truck using a 2011 Nissan Leaf.

The Mobile Charging truck features a self-contained, fully-integrated 480 Volts, Level 3 DC charger which allows an electric vehicle (EV) to be charged in less than 20 minutes. The Level 3 charger uses Real Power's patented PTO-driven generator system as a power source in order to be able to recharge an electric car.
