You Need a Real Alternative.
With inverter-based generators, there are dangers. Since the
inverter unit is directly connected to your truck’s electrical system, if the
generator should fail or seize, your truck could be damaged and rendered
un-drivable.
Some inverter-based generators create additional heat, which
will adversely affect the lifetime of your engine components. Additionally, most
vehicle manufacturers will not look favorably upon integrating a 400-volt DC
power-source directly into your truck’s electrical system.
Unlike the inverter-based generator systems, Real Power
requires no alteration of your truck’s existing DC electrical system. Because
Real Power is a true AC generator, driven directly off the PTO gear, there is no
need for batteries, engine-driven belts, DC capacitors, inverters, converters,
or similar electronic components.
When Real Power is engaged, your truck becomes a pure and
powerful AC generator. When you turn Real Power off, it is completely
disengaged, which means no loss of horsepower or fuel efficiency for your truck.
