Real Power Integration - 30-180kVA Systems

The three main components of every Real Power®
 30-180kVA generator system are a vehicle platform, an industrial -rated 3-phase AC generator, and an appropriately designed distribution/connection system.
No drilling is required and in most cases no ground clearance is lost.


Platform:

These systems require a platform that is capable of supporting the needs of these larger generators - typically in a class 6 or 7 size truck. Depending on the amount of power your application requires, we can recommend a vehicle/engine/transmission platform to meet your needs.



Generator:

The generator is an industrial-rated 3-phase AC generator. Real Power generators are designed for continuous duty at rated loads, and are available in a wide selection of voltage and power ratings, as well as other options:

• 30-180kVA power capability
• Voltages from 120 all the way up to 480
• Single or three phase
• Direct drive or Gates® Poly Chain® drive
• Mounting location between the frame rails or outside the frame

Distribution/connection system:

Real Power 30-180kVA systems can be provided with distribution and connection systems designed to meet the needs of the application. Examples include:

• 3-phase (or single phase) breaker/disconnect and cables for temporary service connections
• 3-phase (or single phase) load center with main breaker/disconnect and multiple branch circuits for on-board equipment
• 3-phase (or single phase) load center with main breaker/disconnect and multiple branch circuits connected to appropriate twist-lock connectors and/or 120VAC service plugs

30kVA to 180kVA Real Power Generators

The 30kVA to 180kVA Real Power generators for class 4 through 8 trucks typically mount to the outside of the driver's-side frame rail, out of the way of other truck components. Like the 12kW and 15kW generators, no ground clearance is lost.

1. DASH SWITCH - conveniently located to activate your Real Power system.
2. ECM - factory engine control to maintain proper RPM.
3. PTO GEAR- located in/on transmission to power the Real Power generator.
4. 30kVA to 180kVA GENERATOR - produces clean sine-wave 120 to 480 volt pure AC power.
5. POWER DISTRIBUTION PANEL - configured to meet the requirements of the application.
