Real Power Reveals Mobile Level 3 EV Quick Charge Demonstration Vehicle at Los Angeles Auto Show

(Nov. 18, 2010) Los Angeles, California –  Real Power, a division of Contour Hardening ,Inc. (CHI) of Indianapolis, Indiana, revealed a functional Level 3 Mobile Quick Charge Demonstration Vehicle outside the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The demonstration vehicle features a self-contained, fully-integrated Level 3 DC charger which allows an electric vehicle (EV) to be charged in less than 20 minutes. The Level 3 charger uses Real Power's patented PTO-driven generator system as a power source in order to be able to recharge an electric car.
